Why I Don’t Always Share Every Step

People often ask why I don’t film more of my paintings from start to finish.
The truth?
Because I’m not just painting — I’m connecting.
Each piece has her own voice, her own rhythm.
Sometimes I begin with a clear plan — colours, techniques, vision.
But she always has her own direction.
She might ask for a cloth instead of a brush, a wash instead of layers, texture in places I hadn’t planned.
And I follow.
Because I’m not here to control her — I’m here to bring her to life.
That’s why I call her she.
She’s powerful. She’s magnetic. She’s full of feeling.
She’s not just paint on canvas — she’s presence.
And every woman who collects my work feels that.
It’s not just art. It’s energy. It’s embodiment. It’s a calling.
So yes — I love sharing glimpses of the journey.
But the truth is… some moments aren’t meant to be captured.
Some moments are sacred between the piece and me.
And as for the rest?
Well — a woman has to keep a few secrets, doesn’t she?
