Living Without Commentary

Living Without Commentary

Some days move slowly enough to feel.

Not heavy.

Not dramatic.

Just intimate.

The morning stretches into itself.

Light spills across the room.

The air feels soft on my skin.

I don’t rush to meet the day.

I let it meet me.

Coffee warms my hands.

The chair holds my weight.

My body settles before my mind says anything at all.

There’s no narration following me around.

No quiet commentary asking what this means or where it’s going.

I’m already here.

Work moves like this too.

Ideas arrive when they’re ready.

I touch them.

I shape them.

Then I let them go.

I don’t lean forward into outcomes.

I don’t hover over what’s already in motion.

Things circulate because they belong.

Because they fit.

Because they belong.

Love is something I feel — often, and on purpose.

It’s a warmth that stays.

A closeness that doesn’t ask questions.

A knowing that lives in the body, not the head.

My body is cooperative.

At ease in itself.

Responsive.

I move when I want to.

Rest when I want to.

Wear fabrics that feel good against my skin.

There’s pleasure in the ordinary when I’m not watching it too closely.

Life doesn’t ask for commentary when it’s being touched this way.

It doesn’t need interpretation or framing.

It just continues — fluid, responsive, quietly generous.

I find myself here often now.

Not because I try to return,

but because nothing pulls me away.

Inside the day.

Inside the body.

Inside the life I’m already living.

No commentary required.
