THE ARTIST — Lumière (Chapter 3)

THE ARTIST — Lumière (Chapter 3)

Opening

Some evenings are planned.

Others are carefully created.

When Severin arrives at Lumière, she expects dinner.

Instead, she discovers an entire rooftop reserved for two.

Candlelight flickers across untouched tables.

Crystal catches the city lights below.

Music drifts softly through the evening air.

And as the hours unfold, conversation gives way to something neither of them is interested in rushing.

From the Chapter

“There’s no one else here.”

A flicker touched his mouth then.

“I told you I wanted uninterrupted access to you.”

Heat bloomed beneath her skin instantly.

The Moment

Lumière was never just dinner.

It was an evening created without interruption.

A rooftop reserved for two.

Hours that disappeared unnoticed.

Conversation that gave way to long silences.

A city glowing beneath them.

A first kiss that neither of them hurried.

And a night that neither of them wanted to end.

Some evenings become memories.

Others quietly become the beginning of everything that follows.

The Artist — The Studio

The evening may have ended.

The anticipation hasn’t.

One knock at the front door.

An afternoon surrounded by paint, unfinished canvases, and the world Severin has created.
